Things to Consider Before Buying Nespresso Creatista Plus
Now that you know the most details about the Nespresso Creatista Plus, it’s time to dive deep into some technicalities. Nespresso Creatista Plus is great, but you can’t just go and buy it. You need to consider a lot of features and factors before finally making the purchase. These considerations will help you identify if Creatista Plus is the right pick for you or not.
So, are you wondering about those essential considerations? No worries. As always, we have done the hard work for you. Read on!
Design & Build Quality
The Nespresso Creatista Plus is undoubtedly a stunning and aesthetic machine. I was awed for a few minutes when I took it out of the box. The stainless steel exterior is super luxurious, and it looked beautiful on my countertop. The machine is available in 3 pretty colors; Black Truffle, Sea Salt, and Damson Blue. I opted for the Sea Salt one.
There is a steam wand on the right side of the machine; the coffee dispenser is at the front, and the 50 oz removable water tank is at the back. Also, I found the water reservoir very easy to remove and attach. Like other coffee makers, the removable drip tray is present at the bottom. A coffee dispenser was also on top of the drip tray.
The machine has a lever to open and shut the capsule container. Now coming to the main part, the large display menu. I was surprised by how high-resolution it was. Below the display, we had a start/stop button and a rotary dial to select brew sizes and drink options.
Overall, the Nespresso Creatista Plus has a premium and ergonomic design. It will undoubtedly enhance the beauty of your kitchen. Not to forget, the build is strong and durable too.
Features & Functionality
When it comes to features and functionality, the Nespresso Creatista Plus steals the show. This machine heats up in 3 seconds and brews coffee within 20 seconds. It is ideal for everyone who wants a quick, fast coffee brewing experience.
The machine also has an energy-saving feature that allows the unit to turn off automatically after 9 minutes of inactivity. Moreover, it features adjustable settings for users to choose between 11 milk temperatures and 8 textures.
The Nespresso Creatista Plus offers a total of 8 preset drink options and cup sizes: Ristretto, espresso, lungo, flat white, cappuccino, latte macchiato, cafe latte, and milk froth.
In my opinion, every coffee lover will find their favorites in these drink options. All you have to do is adjust the coffee volume according to the capsules, and you are good to go.
Nespresso Creatista Plus is an OriginalLine machine, and it uses the traditional 19-bar pump and pressure brewing mechanism to extract coffee from the capsules. Hence, this machine will definitely brew a consistent and authentic cup of espresso. If you want to enjoy milky coffee beverages, this machine will do that too! It features an automatic steam wand with auto-purge.
Now coming to the most important question: Does Nespresso Creatista Plus produce great quality coffee? Well, the answer is YES!
This mighty and high-end machine brewed delicious and authentic cups of coffee with the signature thick Nespresso crema on top. Thanks to its great milk frother, the taste and quality of lattes and cappuccinos were also marvelous!
People were more curious about Nespresso Creatista Plus’s potential for latte art. Well, I tried to experiment and see if that’s possible. Luckily, I was able to do some latte art with this machine.
However, keep in mind that you need to have some artistic touch in your hands to perform latte art – just the machine’s abilities are not enough. If you are skilled, you can make leaves and hearts with the Nespresso Creatista Plus. But if you are looking for advanced-level latte art, you might want to look for other options.
Being an OriginalLine machine, the Nespresso Creatista Plus is compatible with all Nespresso OriginalLine pods. However, you can’t use VertuoLine pods with any OriginalLine machine.
Apart from this, Creatista Plus is also compatible with third-party capsules from brands like Lavazza, Peet’s Coffee, Starbucks, and many more. Third-party capsules won’t only be affordable, but you will be able to enjoy more flavors too.
If you are someone who wants to protect their environment, I have some good news for you. Nespresso Creatista Plus is also compatible with reusable and refillable coffee pods. Just buy your favorite ground coffee and fill your reusable pods.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Nespresso Creatista Plus comes with a built-in descaling cycle to make your life easier. All you have to do is purchase a descaling solution from Nespresso’s website and run the cycle. You can read the user manual in detail to initiate the descaling process.
Apart from that, you will need to regularly clean the parts like the water tank, steaming wand, capsule container, and drip tray. For me, cleaning all the parts took maximum of 15 minutes.
The Nespresso Creatis Plus comes with some accessories to give you an enjoyable brewing experience. First of all, you will get a stainless steel jug for milk. Next, you will receive a Nespresso tasting box with some best-selling pods. This tasting box will help you experiment with flavors and find your groove.
The Nespresso Creatista Plus is available for around $650 in the market. Though this machine is very expensive, it offers great value for money.
It has a premium stainless steel construction, a large HD screen, plenty of customizable settings, and high-end features. Moreover, you also get plenty of brew sizes, a milk frother, and an extra-large water reservoir.
You also get the freedom to opt for compatible and reusable pods if you want to cut down on your cost of coffee capsules.
Like all the Nespresso machines, the Nespresso Creatista Plus also comes with a 2-year warranty. This warranty period covers repairs and replacements, with terms and conditions applied. Moreover, Nespresso’s customer service is out-class.
